February 2022

The volunteers at had another very busy month at the Museum preparing for opening in the Spring, unfortunately the museum roof did sustain some damage caused by Storm Eunice in mid February, which saw records winds of up to 120 mph recorded off the Needles.

Photograph showing damage to roof.

Volunteers sprung into action and helped clear the area of the museum effected by the damaged roof to prevent rain damage and thanks to the speedy response of the owners of the museum building, the roof was quickly repaired.

Many thanks to all those who sent messages of support and offers of help which was very much appreciated by the team.
